The fawns are often difficult to see, because they are quiet, still and blend in to their surroundings so well. Nature's way of protecting them. However, when mom places them on your front stoop near the hedges...they can be in full view...and may be safe from wild predators, but not necessarily dogs, cats and humans!

A while ago it was said it was too expensive, BS, they put one on the Merritt TEMPORARILY when doing construction on a bridge, I'm sure we could use one of the low-budget versions.

If there is movement in the water, call a plumber. Since this water may be contaminated with fecal matter, more cleaning/decontaminating is necessary as well.
Also, the speed of water removal is only an issue when you are talking feet of water and using higher capacity pumps.
