During 2006 and 2007, the Town of Darien granted $200,000 to the Darien Housing Authority to undertake predevelopment studies and activities related to the improvement of the site.</p> <p>Although the Darien Housing Authority is located in Town Hall, it is not actually a part of Town government – the Housing Authority is an independent agency.</p>
