Bob Goldsholl is a sports reporter for Patch.

Bob recently completed thirty years of broadcasting sports on television and radio in New York. He was a sports anchor for ten years at WPIX-TV and for three years at WCBS-TV. He won an EMMY at WCBS-TV for a story comparing baseball and cricket. In addition, Bob broadcast NJ Nets (nee NY Nets) basketball for thirteen years along with play-by-play for Columbia and St. John's Universities in all sports for Sportschannel and Cablevision.

Bob graduated from New York University with a B.S. in Journalism. He was an All-Conference pitcher twice and signed a professioanl contract with the Giants upon graduation  where "I fooled them for two years." Bob's first media position was with The Omaha World Herald. After that he returned to New York where he started his broadcast career. He'll be covering local sports and calls it a labor of love.
