Samantha incorporates her New York state of mind (having been born there) in all she does. However she also reflects on many of her experiences within the Fairfax County Public School system from which she was graduated. Samantha earned her BA in Political Science at Davis and Elkins College in the state of West Virginia and looks forward to sharing her varied perspectives with the Herndon Patch audience. <br><br>Samantha has held a variety of internships including reporting for the Great Falls Connection newspaper and promoting 92.3 K-Rock in New York City where she authored music and pop culture articles published on their website. You might have even heard her voice overs on the "Elliot in the Morning" show at DC101 where she most recently interned. <br><br>Samantha's interests and talents range from the theatrical to the political. She looks forward to putting Herndon "on the map," which will probably give her an excuse to write from the Amphora diner while enjoying a bowl of their delicious chicken noodle soup!
