Piranhas Rewrite the Record Books at Sectionals

The Darien YMCA Piranha Swim Team traveled to Buffalo August 1-4th for the 2013 Speedo Super Sectional Championship meet last week and came home with 10 new Team records!  The Piranhas were led by Liza Bragg who set 6 new Team records and Jake Greene who set three new Team records while placing 6th in the 400 IM!  Phoebe Slaughter, making her debut at Sectionals, broke the Team record in the 13/14 Girl's 200 Backstroke.  Amanda Bieler rounded out the swimming with best times in 3 of 4 of her events while just missing the Team record in the 800 Freestyle by .22.
