All good points Cath. While it is commonly misunderstood, CT's Carry Permit has no requirement thatRead More pistols and revolvers be concealed. Please note the following site: http://ctcarry.com/Document/Details/a034b530-1221-425d-a99f-53af710ff219

Here's hoping that everyone will have learned from this morning's events so responses, in the eventRead More of future situations, will be smoother. For the BOE and school administration: call the bus company when deciding to delay, close or lock down schools for an emergency. I live in the Tokeneke District. Our neighborhood's bus drove by at its usual time, which was after the 90 minute delay had been called. For the police and Town administration: encourage 100% participation in the reverse 911 service. There were children on the bus that passed my house. Obviously, some Tokeneke District (!!!) parents were not notified about the situation. For all of us: let's hope that we are spared such emergency events in the future.
