Darien High School seniors Alex Sedlack and Taylor Stauffer won a gold medal in the Men's 1st Varsity 4+, winning the DiscoverRe Cup, and a bronze medal in the Men's 1st Varsity 8+ at the Head of the Riverfront Regatta in Hartford, CT on Sunday, October 6th. Darien High School sophomore Charlie Cragin also won silver in the Men's 2nd Varsity 4+. Sedlack, Stauffer, and Cragin all row on the Norwalk River Rowing youth racing team which won 6 medals in total. The highly competitive Head of the Riverfront Regatta had over 3,000 rowers racing 608 boats from 6 states.
