Darien High School's Alex Sedlack and Taylor Stauffer will compete in two events at the 2013 USRowing Youth National Championships in Oak Ridge, Tennessee on June 7 -9. Sedlack and Stauffer, who are both juniors at DHS, qualified for the national competition after their impressive finishes in the Northeast District Junior Rowing Championships in Lowell, MA on May 18-19th where they placed second in the Men's Youth 4+ and fourth in the Men's Youth 2- races. Both athletes row for Norwalk River Rowing which is sending a total of eight boats to compete in the National Championships (more than any other rowing club in Fairfield County).
