Darien Designers Designing Tabletops for Annual Red & White Ball

Darien Designers Carey Karlan and Jane Ellsworth are each designing one of 30 beautiful tablescapes for The Metro New York North Chapter of the American Red Cross’ annual Red & White Ball on Saturday, May 11th at the NetJets Hanger of the Westchester Airport. Their designs for this year’s theme, “Help Today, Hope for Tomorrow,” will be accompanied by other Fairfield County designers, builders, florists and retailers designs such as: Catherine Cleare, Connie Cooper, Kim Freeman, Rachel Laxer, Susanna Salk, Sandra Morgan, Scalamandre, Hoagland’s, AKDO and Baccarat to name a few . Noted Emmy Award winning interior designer Thom Filicia was the honorary tabletop design chair. The ball’s co-chairs are Elizabeth Boutry and Giovanna Miller. Proceeds from the Red & White Ball allow the Metro New York North Chapter to provide immediate humanitarian aid – food, shelter, financial assistance, temporary housing, mental health support and emergency supplies - to those in need. Tickets can be purchased from $700 individually to $2,500 for benefactor.
