Original article, Wednesday:

This week's latest winter storm may be over, but travel conditions will once again be slick tonight into Thursday morning's commute as temperatures drop into the teens — and the light freezing rain and melting slush ice over.

Because of this, the National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for Darien, as well as much of the rest of the region.

The meteorologists warned that the combination of slushy surfaces and dipping temperatures will lead to "widespread black ice tonight into Thursday morning as standing water re-freezes."

The advisory remains in effect until 10 a.m. on Thursday.

...someone needs to change this headline. While the lead paragraph is correct, there will be no "Freezing Rain, Ice Expected for Thursday AM Commute." The front has moved through, so while ice left over from Wednesday's storm could still be on the roads (especially from the freeze/melt/freeze cycle), there won't be any freezing rain coming down tomorrow morning. My mistake. I've changed it.
