The Women’s Association of the First Congregational Church of Darien, UCC, will hold its annual Dressings to Drumsticks Thanksgiving Fair on Sunday, Nov. 22, at 11 a.m. The traditional event follows the church’s annual Service of Thanksgiving.
The fair features homemade baked goods, quiches, Vermont cheddar cheese, a small-item jumble sale, and a raffle, all in time for holiday shopping. There will be plenty of activities to occupy children while their parents shop. Nina Miller, an instructor at the Darien Nature Center, will bring small animals for kids to pet. The church’s Youth Group will run games and face painting.
The fair is the Women’s Association one fundraiser of the year. Proceeds subsidize the group’s activities and special church projects.

The First Congregational Church of Darien is located at 14 Brookside Road, just off the Post Road. Sunday services are at 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.
