received a coveted positive review in Sunday's New York Times, which said eating in the Darien restaurant is "like recapturing a memory of Italy, at a very reasonable price."
The reviewer, Patricia Brooks, also praised the "diverse Northern Italian menu that delivers on most of its promises; and an elegant, welcoming interior."
In March, 8-month-old eatery participated in , which encouraged patrons to contribute a dollar to the charity when they asked for a glass of water at the restaurant.
Brooks has reviewed only two other Darien restaurants in the past two years: (on Nov. 12, 2010) and (on Aug. 27, 2010). Other Connecticut restaurant reviews from the Times are available on the newspaper's website.
