4th Annual Darien Holiday Magic

Was Santa or the ride on animals Rudolph, Lucy the Polar Bear and Maurice the Moose the “Star of the Show”?  Darien Toy Box sponsored 3 animals this year instead of two, so the queue moved much faster.  Bill Jensen had to reserve the animals with Safari Rides-Wallingford, CT a year in advance.  Bill said, “They are a wonderful way to share the Christmas spirit, give back to the community and kick off the holiday season.  Plus, it is just fun to see the kids having so much fun.”

The 4th Annual Chamber of Commerce “Holiday Magic in Darien” truly was magical for kids of all ages.  How could we see Santa up by the roof one minute….. “And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof, The prancing and pawing of each little hoof” then “As I drew in my head, and was turning around, Down the chimney St Nicholas came with a bound”….and Santa  really did come out of the fireplace!

The songs of the DAC Chorus and the DHS Tudor Singers added to the festive nature of the evening.
