Amanda Smith Caterers Ribbon Cutting Welcome

Amanda Smith Caterers is a full service catering and event planning company established in New York in 2002 that expanded to Connecticut in 2011.  “Expanding to Connecticut was a dream and our charming new location on the Post Road is just perfect!  We love the town, the community, and the easy access from the I–95” says owner Amanda Pilar Smith referring to the space she just acquired off exit 11.

Servicing both corporate and private clientele, Amanda Smith Caterers and Events provides individualized attention to every client.  From intimate dinners at home, to corporate luncheons, and weddings for 500, Amanda is always involved in every detail expertly crafting a perfect affair with unique menus, professional servers and exquisite food (much of it sourced from the Grant Farm in Fairfield, CT).

En Route is a new farm–to–table take home dinner service offering freshly prepared meals for those who do not have time to cook.  “Many of our clients commented that they wished they could eat our food every day... now they can!” says Amanda of this new service.  En Route offers healthy, every day options that are cooked every morning, packed, and ready for you to pick up en route home, to school or other activities.

En Route provides the flexibility to order daily or place advance orders for the week.   “You tell us when you want to pick it up and we will have it ready for you to pop in and out.’ says Amanda ‛ No parking, standing on line, or waiting for your food to be packed, it will be ready for you.”  Each week, menus will be posted with selections like Lemon Chicken or Roast Pork Loin with sides such as sautéed Kale, baked cauliflower and mashed potatoes, as well as weekly soups, salads and specials like macaroni and cheese, chicken pot pie, and spicy enchiladas.  All packed in oven–ready, recyclable containers with heating instructions.

The store will also stock products made by local artisans such as Flow hand made towels in Old Greenwich, Ct; organic chili jelly, preserves and heirloom sauces from Ho Hum Hollow Farm in Bethel, Ct.; fresh produce from the Grant farm in Fairfield, Ct.; and six signature Tea Blossom teas in addition to Amanda Smith Caterers treats.

En Route is a new take home dinner service that provides freshly prepared meals for those who don’t have time to cook.

How it works:

They post the menus weekly

You order your dinners on line or phone up until 3pm

They  pack in biodegradable, recycled containers ready for pick up

Pick up between 2:30 and 7:30pm en route home, to school, or

other activities

Heat and enjoy a delicious dinner with your family

Dinners are cooked fresh every morning

(we only cook a certain amount daily, so ordering early is recommended
