Over 215 people helped tidy up our Beautiful Town on the Sound. Many thanks go out to: A Better Chance Students, Atria Darien, Beautification Commission, Brownie Troop, Daisy Troop, Darien Chamber, Darien High School Students, Darien Land Trust, Darien Senior Men’s Association The Depot, Friends of Gorham Pond, Friends of Pear Tree School, Friends of Selleck Woods, Friends of Tokeneke, Friends of Weed Beach, George Family & Friends, Green Team, Hindley School Students, Indian Guides, Indian Princesses, Jessup Family, New Beginnings Community Church, Pear Tree Point School Students, Upper Crust Bagel and Deli and the DPW. Stop & Shop donated $500 of flowers which were planted in public areas around town by the Beautification Commission volunteers.
