Three masked men—at least one of them displaying a handgun—robbed the Darien Exxon gas station at 1358 Post Rd. shortly before 9 p.m. Monday, struggled with a customer and an attendant, then made off with an undetermined amount of cash.

The attendent told police that the customer was in the station when the three robbers arrived. A struggle ensued in which both the attendant and the customer received minor injuries before the robbers took money from the customer and left.

Neither the attendant nor the customer saw a vehicle the robbers might have used to get away, Darien police said in a statement released at 11:11 p.m.
