A 1999 BMW X5 was reported vandalized sometime during the day Thursday in a westbound parking lot at the .
The owner told the car was parked at about 6:52 a.m in the lot. Returning to it at 8:30 p.m., the driver saw the damage: A key or similar object had been used to scratch the driver's side door and rear passenger door.
The driver had no estimate of what it would cost to repair the car.
