  • Short Stories for Short Days: Carroll Stenson leads a weekly discussion on short stories at the from 3 to 4 p.m. Copies of the stories are available for pickup at the Welcome Desk during the week prior to each meeting.
  • Story times: The library hosts two story times today. First from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. is Toddler Tales, intended for walkers up to 36 months and their caregivers. Then from 6:15 to 6:45 a.m. is Sleepytime Stories, intended for children 2 to 6 years old and their families.
  • American Flag Project: From now until Oct. 1, a photographic exhibit by Steven Willard titled "" will be on display in the library's art gallery.
  • Children of the Desert: From now until Oct. 29, the  hosts "Bana Ba Motlhaba: Children of the Desert," featuring photographs by Dave Hamman and Botswanan crafts. The center is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays.
