Signs of Change:  The Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing tonight at 8 p.m. ( room 206) on a proposal to modify the maximum allowed size and permitted locations of those familiar real estate signs. The change would affect subsection 922c of the Darien Zoning Regulations.

Town Meetings: Meeting elsewhere at 2 Renshaw tonight are the Board of Finance (7:30 p.m., room 119), the Board of Education (7:30 p.m., BOE meeting room), and the RTM Public Works Committee (8 p.m., employee lounge).

Heat Wave: A slight exaggeration, maybe, but the National Weather Service is calling for partly sunny conditions with highs in the 50s on Thursday and Friday. An earlier forecast of rain has been bumped back to Friday night.
