Amazing Park Pursuit: Swing by the  today (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) to pick up a Passport to the Parks, your family's key to the . The event, a nature-based scavenger hunt, will run at various town parks from May 28 to June 5. Complete the hunt at your own pace, but be sure to drop by the center June 5 at 2 p.m. for a celebratory ice cream party.

Dog Days: Also happening at the nature center today is Dog Days of Darien exhibit, on display through June 3. The show  of their "best friends" in nature. Drop by weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. or Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Cairo TimeThe will host a screening of Cairo Time tonight at 7:30 p.m., part of the library's Friday Night Film series. The 2009 drama, starring Patricia Clarkson and Alexander Siddig, centers around "a brief, unexpected love affair that catches two people completely off-guard." The screening is free, and refreshments will be served.

Chance of Precip: The National Weather Service has revised its forecast headed into Memorial Day weekend to include a chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms this afternoon, tonight, and Saturday afternoon. Luckily, dry conditions are still expected Sunday and Monday.
