Noroton Fire Department Collecting Toys For Tots

This will mark Noroton FD's third year participating in the Toys for Tots program. The NFD hopes to collect over 1,000 toys — more than double the 500+ toys it collected last year. Sunday, Dec. 18, is the last day for the toy drive.

The is collecting toys today and tomorrow for the U.S. Marine Corps. Reserve “” program, which provides donated toys to less fortunate children locally for the Christmas season. Last year the program distributed 16.7 million toys nationwide.

This will mark Noroton FD’s third year participating in the Toys for Tots program. The NFD hopes to collect over 1,000 toys — more than double the 500+ toys it collected last year.

Sunday, Dec. 18, is the last day for the toy drive.

The unwrapped donated gifts can be left in the drop box which will be located in the parking lot at the rear of the Noroton firehouse (1873 Post Road across from St. Luke’s Church).

Residents can also arrange to have toy donations picked up by a Noroton firefighter in a fire truck at their homes up until 3 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 18. To arrange for a pick up email Chief Alan Hyatt at hyatt1996@yahoo.com or call 203-656-2122.
