An "Occupy Darien" event has been scheduled for Dec. 21-22 at , although it won't involve overnight camping, according to reports.

Margaret Rague—an attorney, a naturopathic physician in town and a 23-year resident—has described the event as an opportunity for people to discuss their views. The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days.

According to a report in the Daily Darien, Rague is paying for the event in order to encourage people to discuss problems with the economy, and she is hoping the protest will be peaceful. Port A Potties are to be set up at the park, and Rague hopes Christmas shoppers downtown will find it convenient to stop by to exchange ideas., the website reports.
