Topher Grace's 'Revenge' on High School 'Bully'

The actor and Darien native told Anderson Cooper during a recent interview that he took advantage of the opportunity to rub his successful acting career into his former classmate's face.

When Topher Grace returned to Fairfield County last year to shoot a comedy titled "The Wedding" , he reportedly ran into one of his old classmates who used to "bully" him a little.

"I bumped into someone — no names mentioned, but you know who you are — who was like a real bully to me at high school... " Grace said during an interview with Anderson Cooper during an episode of his new syndicated talk show, "Anderson," which aired on Tuesday.

Grace said he took opportunity to rub his successful acting career into his former classmate's face:

"It was the reason you wanna go into being an actor, [to] go back and be like, 'Hey, do you know Robert De Niro? Katherine Heigl?'" he said during the interview. "It was great. I was a real jerk."

During the interview, Grace also talks about how he stayed at his parents' house in Darien — in his old room no less — which helped him get into his character while .

His old room, he said, is relatively unchanged from the days of his youth: He said it still has the same bunk bed, Jurassic Park posters on the walls and glow in the dark stars on the ceiling.
