Letter: Support Silsby for Board of Education

To the editor,

Shannon Silsby will lead with us, not just for us.

I have had the opportunity to witness first hand Shannon Silsby’s thoughtful, tireless and inclusive approach as a leader.  Working with her during her presidency of the Board at the Community Cooperative Nursery School in Rowayton and most recently as Co-Chair of the PTO at Royle Elementary School, she consistently proves her ability to thoroughly study and understand the issues, gives genuine and thoughtful consideration to the ideas of others and provides innovative solutions. 

Shannon also has an uncanny ability to inspire, challenge and rally those around her to join her in her quest to make things better.

We have but one chance to get it right when it comes to our children’s education.  Shannon understands that and will work tirelessly to make sure that we get it right for all of Darien's children.  Please, join me in supporting Shannon Silsby for the Board of Education on November 5th.
