Letter Supporting Board of Ed Candidate Shannon Silsby

To the editor:

The Darien Board of Education is our Board of Education, and I believe Shannon Silsby is the best candidate to ensure our BOE is accountable to Darien parents, collaborative in its approach to resolving issues, and innovative in pursuing an excellent education for our children.

In her role as co-chair of the Royle PTO, I have witnessed Shannon’s strong understanding of the issues, her insightful challenging of priorities, her tireless energy and her persuasive approach to making things happen.  Shannon has inspired me, and our community is reaping the benefits of her dedication and commitment.

Shannon’s platform is about partnering with parents, and I believe she will be a strong partner and a very effective champion for us, and our children.  I am proud to endorse Shannon Silsby for our BOE this November and invite you to join me.
