Animals in Distress Visits

Animals in Distress, A Volunteer Run Rescue to be at Village Critter Outfitter on March 2nd

New Canaan, CT, February 18th, 2013 – Village Critter Outfitter is hosting an adoption event this week at its store geared to anyone that is looking to adopt a cat or kitten that needs a forever home.  On Saturday March 2nd, Animals in Distress will be visiting.

Animals In Distress is a non-profit organization staffed solely by volunteers based in Wilton, Connecticut. The organization is dedicated to the care and placement of homeless cats and kittens on a year round basis. At Animals In Distress, cats are not ordinarily caged.

“We’re happy to host Animals In Distress and give them a venue to showcase some of the cats and kittens they have looking for a permanent home” explained Shirleen Dubuque, owner of Village Critter Outfitter. “If it weren’t for great organizations like Animals In Distress and their diligence, these displaced cats and kittens would have a much tougher time finding great new homes”.

The event takes place on March 2nd from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at Village Critter Outfitter, 107 Cherry Street. For more information, visit www.villagecritteroutfitter.com or call the store at 203-972-7000.
