Burgundy 101

Perhaps one of the most diverse wine producing regions of the world, Burgundy offers a tremendous amount of stylistic variety using just two basic grapes, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Home to 100 different appellations, its diversity is found in the soil composition, sun exposure and winemaker philosophies. In this 90 minute class, instructor Peter Troilo will explain the basics of Burgundy. Guests will sample 6 whites and 6 reds designed to illustrate the stylistic differences of winemakers and vineyard sites and will leave with a better understanding of Burgundy.
