Rowayton Turkey trot

Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the annual Rowayton Turkey Trot, a family-friendly event with two courses (5k and 1 mile) that sprints into action at 9:30 a.m. on November 28. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. at the Rowatyon Library (33 Highland Ave., Rowatyon). This year, proceeds benefit the Rowayton Library. The race route winds through town and provides runners with big views of Long Island Sound. Cost is $30 for adults who pre-register ($40 day of the race). Kids 9 to 17 years of age are $10.
