“Welcome Back” Afternoon Tea at the DCA, Sept 12th

Carolyn’s Absolutely Fabulous Events will recreate a proper British Tea Room at the Darien Community Association (DCA) on Thursday, September 12th from 11:00am to 3:00pm.

After the buzz from socializing at the Open House, a relaxing afternoon tea is the perfect way to unwind and catch up. Classically British treats will be offered - dainty sandwiches; scones with jam and clotted cream; a selection of cakes and pastries – in a beautiful, airy setting amidst colorful gardens; your choice to sit inside or out.  

Local Darien Brit Carolyn Eddie has been establishing a fan base for her teas over the last several years, even garnering the ultimate compliment from The 2013 Insider’s Guide to New Canaan, Darien and Rowayton - “Another Step Closer to Downton Abbey.” She’s now offering her scrumptious teas as a regular event at the DCA; future dates are December 5th, February 13th, May 9th and June 5th. 

Join us! $20 for DCA members; $25 public price. Reservations are available from 11am to last seating at 2pm, but are not required.
