OPUS for Person to Person Baby Basics Fall Drive

OPUS for Person-to-Person will hold their annual Baby Basics Fall Drive this Saturday in front of supermarket in the Goodwives Shopping Center.

The drive will collect essential newborn items for delivery to mothers-in-need at local hospital. Items most needed this year are newborn diapers, pacifiers and bottles (new only), baby clothing sized 9 months or less, hats and socks, crib sheets, towels and washcloths, blankets, bibs and burp cloths and infant gifts and books. Donations of both new and used items as well as cash donations are 100 percent tax deductible.

This year the demand for baby basics and warm clothes has dramatically increased. In addition to baby basics,  will be collecting gently used coats for children and adults as part of the ongoing Fall Coat Drive.

In the event of inclement weather, the drive will take place inside Shaw's.
