NOT HIDDEN in Town Hall: Selectmen's Meeting Materials

Update 6:33 p.m.:

First Selectman Jayme Stevenson commented on the new, emailed distribution of documents for upcoming Board of Selectmen meetings in an email to Darien Patch:

"I hope you found today's inaugural distribution of the Board of Selectmen's meeting materials helpful and user friendly. Perhaps my actions to enhance the transparency of Board of Selectmen matters will serve as a model for other boards, commissions and the RTM."

Original article:

For the first time, the Darien Board of Selectmen has sent out not only the agenda for it's upcoming Monday night meeting, but the documents selectmen get to prepare for the meeting.

"Attached is the agenda and packet materials for the BOS meeting on Monday, April 22, 2013," reads an email Thursday afternoon from Linda O'Leary, a secretary in the First Selectman's Office. "This is your press packet in electronic format. You may print copies for yourself if you desire hard copies."

Darien Patch's revamped website has some technical problems that currently don't allow posting PDFs or other documents to the site, so instead, links to the documents have been posted on a Darien Patch blog on Wordpress, here.

Or you can just go directly to the documents now hosted on the blog:
