Browse Online at the Darien Thrift Shop

Here's a sampling of what toys, clothes, books, furnishings and knick-knacks you can find at the thrift shop today.

Whether you're indulging on a whim or saving money on a necessity, you never know what you'll find at the Darien Community Association Thrift Shop.

Just a reminder: Since it's a thrift shop, most items are one-of-a-kind, of course, so if you fall in love with that porcelain pig or ceramic house, come snatch it up today before some other Patch reader carries it off.

The thrift shop is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, and that bit of money you part with could help a local kid through college with a Darien Community Association scholarship.

Not to mention provide a tax write-off for a donor.

This is BEST thrift shop ever! Been going there since 1970s! My best finds include real snakeskin cowboy boots for $5.00 and 50s green wool coat for $15.00. I also buy a blankets and men's clothes to launder and bring to Pacific House in Stamford. The ladies at DCA thrift shop are super nice too!
