Learn Hands-Only CPR Saturday, Aug. 25 @ Chelsea Piers

There are few events that guarantee to change the course of your life and the lives of the friends, neighbors and strangers around you.  This is one of them.

• Each year 785,000 Americans suffer from a heart attack 
• Nearly 300,000 of these victims will suffer sudden cardiac arrest at the time of their heart attack, outside a hospital setting

Last year, I lost my 37 year-old younger brother from sudden cardiac arrest.  Matt had no risk factors: he was young, healthy, a non-smoker, non-drinker and in top physical military condition as a naval officer. 

His wife, two children and our entire family were devastated by this shocking and inconceivable loss.  It is in Matt’s memory that I’m attending this awesome event and learning this life-saving skill.
