Darien, Connecticut – October 7, 2013 – At Home in Darien, formerly Aging in Place+Gallivant, is taking names of seniors who are interested in having their leaves raked  by community volunteers.  If you are a Darien senior interested in having your leaves raked, or if you would like to coordinate a group of volunteers to rake leaves for seniors, please call 203.585.4094.

While leaf raking can be good exercise, it is often a tiring and sometimes hazardous chore for home-owning seniors.  At Home in Darien is delighted to organize the fall leaf raking program and match volunteers to seniors who greatly appreciate the assistance which helps to allow them to live independently in the community.
