Letter to the Editor

Dear Editor:

Our town deserves a Board of Education that will listen and respond actively to Darien’s citizens. On November 5th I urge you to cast a vote for the Silsby/Sullivan team.  Both Shannon Silsby and Callie Sullivan bring a strong understanding of the schools given their extensive experience with town government, PTOs and our education system. Shannon is the co-chair of the Royle PTO and vice chair of the Council of Darien School Parents and is a working mother of four children. Callie has served on the Board of Selectmen, the RTM education subcommittee and as a PTO rep and lives up to her reputation as one who challenges the status quo in a constructive manner.  Both women are dynamic and intelligent with the experience that will drive positive change. Silsby and Sullivan will breathe fresh air into our Board.
