Darien Police to Conduct Sobriety Checkpoint Friday Night
Police will screen for intoxicated driving near the intersection of Ledge Road and Post Road.
The will be running a sobriety checkpoint Friday night near the intersection of Post Road and Ledge Road.
Conducted in cooperation with the , the checkpoint will run from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Saturday.
The department just under a year ago in June. Five arrests were made at the time for driving under the influence of alcohol, and several drivers' vehicles were towed due to missing or expired paperwork.
