Fire Log: False Alarm at Darien YMCA
Firefighters also responded to a smoke scare on Juniper Road last week.

TUESDAY, MARCH 29
Smoke Scare: Around 8:53 a.m., the , , and responded to a report of smoke at 19 Juniper Rd. The source was determined to be burnt food.

FRIDAY, APRIL 1
Fire Alarm: The DFD, NFD, and NFD were called to the (2420 Post Rd.) after the fire alarm went off around 1:44 p.m. Firefighters determined that dust in the system had triggered a false alarm.

Carbon Monoxide Alarm: A carbon monoxide alarm brought the NHF to 31 Ridgeley St. around 5:33 p.m. No unusual readings were found on site, however.
SUNDAY, APRIL 3
Smoke Odor: The NHF responded to 42 Phillips Lane around 10:26 p.m. after a report of a smoke odor in the area. The source was determined to be a resident's fireplace.
