Five SUVs and a Car Stolen from BMW of Darien
Police are asking anyone who may have seen suspicious activity around BMW of Darien at 140 Ledge Rd. overnight to call and tell detectives what they saw.
Five SUVs and a car were stolen from the BMW of Darien dealership at 140 Ledge Rd. sometime early this morning, police said.

The theft is thought to have occurred sometime in the early morning hours, when the dealership building was burglarized and access was gained to a gated lot.

Sgt. Jeremiah Johnson said police were not saying at this time whether the vehicles were owned by the dealership or had other owners. The SUVs are all BMW X5s, and the sedan is a BMW 550, Johnson said. All the vehicles are dark colored, he said.
The dealership is located within yards of the southbound entrance to Interstate 95 at Exit 11 and not much farther away from the northbound entrance.

The Darien Police detective division has notified the Statewide Auto Theft Task Force and are asking anyone who may have seen suspicious activity around the dealership to contact the Darien Detective Division at 203-662-5330.
