Darien Police reported Monday a motor vehicle burlary on Friday, Jan. 4, in the parking lot of a Whole Food Market.
Police said a 2005 Dodge Neon parked in the lot of the Ledge Rd. grocery storewas broken into at approximately 12:30 p.m. When the owner returned at roughly 2:15 p.m., the driver's side window had been smashed out and the door damaged.
Police said the vehicle had been locked prior to the forced entry, but it did not appear like anything had been taken.
