Shelton Man Dies in Sunday Motorcycle Accident

A Shelton man has died after he was ejected from his motorcycle Sunday night on Route 110, police said.

Adam Grabrowski, 30, of Shelton, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

"On Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013 at approximately 6:45 p.m., the Shelton Police Department received numerous 911 calls reporting a motor vehicle accident on Leavenworth Road south of White Hills Shopping Center.

"Shelton Police and EMS were dispatched and upon arrival found a motorcycle being operated by 30-year old Adam Grabowski of Shelton and a Honda CRV operated by 44 year old Leelo Linask of Monroe were involved in the crash," police said.

The preliminary investigation shows both vehicles were northbound at the time of the crash.

The Shelton Police Department Accident Reconstruction Team responded to the scene and is currently continuing the investigation.

Anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the crash is asked to call the Shelton Police Traffic Division at 203-924-1544.

Grabowski's obituary was posted Monday on the Riverview Funeral Home Website.
