Republicans Launch Board of Selectmen Campaign Website

Jayme Stevenson, Dave Campbell, and Jerry Nielsen are running under the name We Are United 2011.

With just over seven weeks to go before election day, the Republican slate for the Darien Board of Selectmen has unveiled its official campaign website.

Promising "innovative thinking, sound leadership, local control, [and] fiscal restraint," the site — weareunited2011.com — includes biographies, voting information, and a rundown of first-term accomplishments and future plans for the slate.

The Republican ticket is led by selectman Jayme Stevenson, after Dave Campbell declined to seek reelection. Campbell is still running for a second term on the board, however, alongside selectman Jerry Nielsen.
