Talk: Mentoring Successful SEAL Candidates at Saint Luke's Discovery Hour

Saint Luke's will host a talk by Andrew E. Bisset, CAPT SEAL (Ret) at this Sunday's Discovery Hour in the Parish Hall, 1864 Post Road, corner Rings End Road. The public is invited to a coffee reception and the presentation.

CAPT Bisset will take us inside the most arduous military training program in the world to give a look at what makes SEALs so amazing.

Locally, CAPT Bisset and CDR Pete Kenyon run the SEAL mentoring program, which prepares candidates for Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL Training. Recently 95 out of 130 of their mentored candidates have completed SEAL training–a 70% success rate compared to the norm of 20%. In addition to his Navy SEAL service, CAPT Bisset has served in times of national crisis, including at Ground Zero during the 9/11 crisis and as a communications expert in Iraq.
