"To Eat or Not to Eat? That is the Question." A Darien Library Health & Wellness Panel Discussion

On Tuesday, October 19 at 7 p.m. at Darien Library, a panel of nutrition experts will discuss healthy food choices in the special program, "To Eat or Not to Eat? That is the Question." Today's supermarkets provide so many choices, it can become difficult to decide which foods to purchase for a healthy lifestyle. Nutrition experts Jessica Yep, MS, RD, CDN – Registered Dietician and Founder of Nutrition Consultants LLC, Mimi MacLean, Holistic Health Coach – The Well Balanced Life, and Ronna Corlin, Healthy Eating Specialist – Whole Foods Market will address food issues such as overeating, portion-size awareness, making healthful food choices for your family (especially children), and the importance of plant-based living.

Healthy snacks will be provided by Whole Foods Market.

This program is part of the Library's Health & Wellness Series, "A Picture of Health," an extensive series of lectures, expert panels, computer workshops, and films. The schedule offers sessions on a variety of health issues, including nutrition, stress management, personal safety for children and teens, pain management, holistic medicine, sleep disorders, and medication management.
