Patch's daily digest of Darien sports

— In Darien Youth Baseball & Softball action, Baubles (minor leage softball) outlasted O'Neill's Tree Care, 13-11, on Sunday afternoon. After Baubles scored six runs in the first two innings, O'Neill's put together a late comeback, but was stopped short by a game-ending double play from Isabel Blaze and Leah Schofield.

Baubles got solid pitching performances from Emilia Callery, Lauren Miller and Isabel Blaze. At the plate, Ally Napolitano had three hits and Mairead Ferguson, Emily Neuner, Emma Hinton, and Isabel Blaze each had two.

For O'Neill's, Rachael Stobbie, Isabel Larino, and Juliana Mazzotta handled the pitching while Lola Duff, Kimberly Olvany, and Madison Corman delivered big hits.
