Push-n-Pull Parade: 10:30 a.m.

YWCA Darien/Norwalk Push-n-Pull Parade in its 8th Year

The YWCA Push-n-Pull Parade will celebrate its eighth year on Wednesday, July 4, 2012. The annual patriotic parade of children riding decorated bikes, scooters, wagons or any non-motorized vehicle steps off at 10:30 a.m. sharp from Goodwives Shopping Center, where Mary Ann Hall’s Music for Children will entertain the waiting crowd starting at 10:00 a.m.  The parade travels down the Post Road and ends in Tilley Pond Park, where parade participants and spectators can enjoy food vendors and live music from L’il Maestros.

Uncle Sam, local dignitaries, and an authentic fife & drum corps will lead the parade, which draws 3,000 local residents.  Thirsty dogs can find refreshment at a watering station in Tilley Park provided by Pawprint Market.
