According to the APA, stress contributes to health problems, poor relationships and lost productivity at work. In addition, chronic diseases such as type-II diabetes, cancer, obesity and heart disease can often be traced back to one root cause: stress.

“Combat Stress in Chaotic Times” is part of the Library’s “Winter Wellness” health and wellness series, which will provide patrons with a variety of lectures, expert panels, workshops, film screening and fitness exercises designed to help get healthy, organized and active.
