CPR but no Paramedics

Teaching CPR is unambiguously a good thing. Recently, Post 53 taught compression only CPR. Compression only is more likely to be used because it avoids the messy mouth to mouth part. Let's face it, a CPR student doesn't know where the practice mannequin has been much less an actual patient.

I do have a problem with Post playing the martyr volunteer teaching CPR but refusing to demand Darien based paramedics. There is almost the implication that CPR taught to the public somehow alleviates the need for paramedics. This is nonsense.

Stay tuned.
