More Responses

I have allowed the madness of Peter Porter, Albert et al to die down before I responded to these characters. I have responded before to their attacks but,for those who are not familiar with this issue, here goes again.

The SEMS paramedics are in Glenbrook, not Springdale.

if it takes 8 to 12 minutes to respond to Darien from Glenbrook when available, according to the EMSRC, it cannot take 6 minutes to reach Stamford Hospital from Darien because Stamford Hospital is much farther from Darien than Glenbrook is.

Much was made of how the experts from Stamford Hospital praised Post 53. However, the conflicts of interest of these experts were not mentioned. For example, Dr. Turnbull has been an emergency room doctor at Stamford Hospital and medical director of both Post and SEMS. In addition, the financial interest of both Stamford Hospital and SEMS in Post was not mentioned. Finally, since almost every town that can have paramedics, has them, the experts that advise all of these towns are ignored.

I have answered these and other questions many times including blistering critiques of Post presentations before the Board of Selectmen. These critiques have never been answered.

In truth, the tirades against me on the Patch have been poorly thought out.

Stay tuned,

Walter Casey
