In this post, I will answer the diatribes posted against me.

If DHS Posties can be put in life and death situations, then they can be asked to defend their involvement with a group that refuses to recommend that paramedics be based in Darien. If Post can put pictures and names of DHS Posties in local media, then these Posties should be available to defend Post's unwillingness to recommend Darien based paramedics.

It may be the town's decision to base paramedics in Darien, but is incumbent on Post to recommend strongly that paramedics be based in Darien.

I am a very informed non supporter of an organization that does not place the health of its neighbors above its own cult like persona.

I clearly stated that teaching CPR is an unambiguously good thing but does not compensate for refusing to demand Darien based paramedics.

Have you ever thought how much better it would be if paramedics were reaching Darien patients in six minutes instead of Post EMTs.

I cannot believe that someone is still recommending that paramedics meet a Post ambulance en route if paramedics are not available initially. God help us.

Stay tuned,

Walter Casey
