XL Day of Giving--Along Land Trust property on Nearwater Lane

XL, an insurance and reinsurance company with offices in Stamford, held its Annual Day of Giving on Friday, May 4. Thirteen XL employees signed up to help the Darien Land Trust turn an unruly vista into 3 garden plots along Nearwater Lane, and donated the plants as well. Chris Filmer, President of the Land Trust, said "The native plants will provide color for passers by as well as nectar and seeds for bees and birds."
